Consultation & Prep
Your provider will assess your skin type. You may be asked to stop using retinoids 3-7 days prior to treatment. We ensure your skin is ready for the transformation.
In-Office Application
The peel is applied by our specialist in a comfortable office setting. The application takes about 20-30 minutes. You will leave the office with the mask on.

At-Home Activation
The solution is removed by the patient after a required length of time depending on his or her skin type (determined by provider). Patients are responsible for adhering to an easy-to-follow, but strict, at-home regimen involving the application of several melanage products following removal of the Core Brightening Peel Solution
The Results Phase
Results will vary but generally patients will see an improvement in the appearance of their skin. Although most patients experience peeling, not every patient will notice this. If you do not see actual peeling, please know that you are still receiving all the benefits of the Core Brightening Peel. Proper skin evaluation by your doctor prior to your peel is important and will help predict the outcome of your peel.

Does the peel hurt?
While some patients may feel a mild tingling sensation from the peeling solution, the treatment is virtually painless. A fan is often used to ensure comfort during the short in-office application.
How much downtime will I need?
Expect social downtime. You will look like you have a sunburn for the first day or two. Heavy peeling usually occurs from day 3 to day 5 or 6. We recommend not scheduling major social events for 7-10 days after treatment.
Can I wear makeup?
You should avoid makeup while the skin is actively peeling to prevent irritation and ensure the best results. Once the peeling has subsided, you can resume your normal makeup routine.
How many treatments do I need?
Many patients see significant results after just one peel. However, for deep melasma or severe sun damage, your provider might recommend a series of treatments spaced several months apart.
