How to use Efudex – your doctor will discuss the frequency and length of treatment time with you at your visit
Wash the area to be treated with warm water and a gentle soap such as Dove or Cetaphil
Pat the area dry with a towel
Apply a thin layer of Efudex to the affected area. Wash your hands after application
Note: it is normal and expected to experience redness, irritation and some crusting. If you experience severe irritation, oozing, and increasing pain of the area you are treating, please contact our office as soon as possible.
